The Grouse Inn is a part of Speyside Whisky Folklore. Situated in the Lower Cabrach about 8 miles from Dufftown, the Inn is open daily from Easter to 31 October.
The bar has to be seen to be believed and is probably the best-stocked Whisky Bar in Scotland with over 225 whiskies on optic and a whisky collection of over 700 bottles. The 'Grouse' is an ideal location to indulge yourself in a dram or two you have not come across before or if you prefer, as a ‘try before you buy’ at one of the retail outlets in the area.
The tea rooms are open daily from 10am to 6pm, coffee and teas are served throughout the day and high tea, the speciality of the house, is available from 4pm to 6pm. The high teas at the Grouse are legendary and for a modest outlay even the most voracious appetites are satisfied. Wilma and Mhairi use only the finest locally sourced ingredients in their cooking and meals are always cooked to order. Home baking is always available in the tearooms.
