Dufftown Pipe Band

There are few more stirring sights and sounds in Scotland than the pipes, drums and dress tartans of a pipe band. We are fortunate enough to have our own small pipe band in Dufftown. Come and hear them play in the Square or in The Royal British Legion at approx 20:00.

Battle of Mortlach Millenium

July 2nd ~ 4th

2010 marks the millenium of the Battle of Mortlach when the Scots defeated the Danes. We will be celebrating this with a variety of events, including a re-enactment of the battle on the Sunday. A weekend with lots for all the family. Full programme will be available shortly.

Dufftown Highland Games

July 31st
A full programme of traditional events, spectacular massed pipe bands, highland dancing, tug-o-war competition, Ben Rinnes 5 Tops Hill Race, Overseas Visitor's Dream Race, Children's Races etc.  There is also a Tea Tent and Licensed Beer Tent as well as various attractive side-stalls.
