Dufftown Distilleries Walk - Get off the Tourist Track!

The Dufftown Distilleries Walks is a relaxed walking tour around the Dufftown distillery sites, past and present. Drink in the history, the surroundings and of course samples from the distilleries themselves! You can visit the sites of: Pittyvaich, Dufftown, Mortlach, Glendullan, Parkmore, Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie and Convalmore. This is the perfect way to see the Malt Whisky Capital of the World. Ceilidh Nights

May ~ Sept  Every Thursday

Every Thursday during June, July and August. Start 8pm. At British Legion & Commercial Hall alternate weeks. £3 entry. Come along and enjoy traditional Scottish music and have a dance with the locals. If you are in any way musical feel free to go up on the stage and join in with the band! 

Children with adults get free admission.

Whisky Nosing and Tasting

Every Wednesday at 20:00 in the Commercial Hotel Hall throughout the summer there will be a nosing & tasting evening. GBP15 per person (includes nosing glass). Dufftown  & District Pipe Band

On Tuesday evenings, you can go and hear them in the Royal British Legion.

There are few more stirring sights and sounds in Scotland than the pipes, drums and dress tartans of a pipe band. We are fortunate enough to have our own small pipe band in Dufftown. Come and hear them play in The Royal British Legion at approx 20:00.

 

Dufftown Highland Games

A full programme of traditional events, spectacular massed pipe bands, highland dancing, tug-o-war competition, Ben Rinnes 5 Tops Hill Race, Overseas Visitor's Dream Race, Children's Races etc.  There is also a Tea Tent and Licensed Beer Tent as well as various attractive side-stalls. Dufftown Flower Show

Second Weekend in September

The Dufftown Horticultural Society Flower She show and this will take place over two days. Saturday from 1.30 - 5.00pm and Sunday from 11.30am - 4.45pm.
